Running out of Content Ideas for your social media?
Are you constantly at loss of ideas about what to post on you Instagram or Facebook?
Content inspiration can come by any time! While driving, while sleeping and even while taking a dump 😉 The baffling part of the story is when you actually sit down to create content, almost every time you don’t know where to start.
The solution? Create a place holder for all your ideas. It is some place easily accessible to your at all times. It could be your mobile phone, it could be your journal, and it could be a collaborative document saved in the cloud for your team members to share. So the next time you see an inspirational picture or see a rival posting something amazing, dump the screenshot or that idea in into your placeholder to access and repurpose later on.
Many content creation agencies use “ideation” document(s) which are shared among the relevant team members. They can upload their content ideas (however raw they may be) into that document.
Some of our favorite placeholders are Google Docs, Dropbox, Evernote and at times good old paper journal.
10 minutes before writing this article, I was scrolling through my idea kitty and found a content idea I had many months back. I am still shocked how great the idea is and how sparingly I remember of jotting it down. Had it not been for this idea document, I would have lost the idea forever!!!
